I love my Razer Deathadder. I have the left-handed edition (just a mirror of the right-handed original) and it is very comfortable. I know this is a niche market but it does broaden the Deathadder series appeal.

 

Mionix Naos 5000 for me. The shape is spot on, and it has all the features I could ask for (mainly DPI up/down).

Personally I don't really even care how "good" the Razers are, I just don't like the shape.

 

Bit-tech's reccomendation for us lefties is the Deathadder I guess then given the left handed variety.

Having handled both, if you've got big hands I'd reccomend the Lachesis (ambidextrous) over it anyway. Personal preference.

 

That QPAD mouse looks quite similar to an MS mouse I used to have - minus all the extra buttons.

I've had a Razer Diamondback 3G for a few years now and I still maintain it's the best mouse I've ever had. It's a good size, is not overbudened with buttons and weights I'm never going to use and was well priced. When it's dead the DeathAdder looks like it might be an ideal replacement.

 

Switched to the QPAD 5K after using intellimouse v3 for years. I got mine for free from a contact at QPAD after a sponsored trip. It was nice but too wide and the dpi settings never seemed to be 'just right' although it was responsive and it WAS a great mouse, just not the best fit for me, I still have it basically brand new if anyone wants?

I moved to the Deathadder a few months back after using one at a LAN cafe and I have been converted - this mouse just works and is responsive at all dpi settings. It relies on the phrase 'Keep It Simple Stupid' in my mind and it does this to perfection whilst hitting pretty much the sweet point in terms of price, highly recommend.

 

mice - like keyboards are a very personal decision

I have a sidewinder for home (a great mouse) as I claw when gaming - at work a rat as it forces my fingers in the right place.

every mouse has its up and downside so very much a try before buy

having said that thumb buttons are essential - unlike macro buttons on keyboards

 

G9x for me ever since my old G5 died. Solid mouse that I love to bits.

I still swear by derivatives of Logitech mx500 and am definitely interested in aquiring a g500 to surplant my aging, battered, one-thumb-buttonned g5.

The shape is superb for my hand.

 

I bought a MS Habu, which is a rebadged Razor somethingorother. Its a nice mouse, but I find the the Sidewinder much more comfortable to use.

 

I think all the peripherals choices are made based on personal issues. PERSONALLY I like mouses that have finger rest on the right side, like that Mionix. But that is my personal taste...

I have an Ozone Somg and I am loving it. I'm looking to buy another one to have at work. Unfortunately, Ozone discontinued it but there are still other brands that make those same rats

 

Microsoft worked with Razer, and Habu (and some keyboard) was the result.

 

G9X for me. Fits my large hands and it has all the features I want.

 

MS X8 Sidewinder is bloody brilliant, cant understand why it dosent even get an honorable mention.

 

Totally. My little finger loves my Naos 5000! It's amazing to use and the software is great. Well worth the high price tag.

 

I love my MX518

 

QPAD 5K, gets my vote.

Been using one for ~ 4 months and its perfect for people who like a ' wide ' mouse.

Tried the Razers , but found them too skinny for my liking.

All down to personal 'feel' i guess.

P.S. Would love a spare one

 

Yeah I got one a couple of days ago for £18 to replace my logitech rx1000 (very good generic £10 mouse, but not really cut out for gaming)
Have to say I am utterly loving the mx518.

 

Steelseries Ikari, because it fits my hand perfectly and is otherwise just fine aswell.
