    Bad news sorted all the other problems braided all the cables yes in blue then pop goes the controler noooooooooooooooo!!!! lucky I found a place that sells new ones cheapish will do a pic soon of the braiding

    This looks great.
    I dont quite get how it cools the water, bit confused on that one.

    I tried to get my hands on a compressor etc, but cant find one. Also dont you need a licence to deal with the 'contents' it uses

    Yes you do need a licence to handle refrigerant and yes I am a qualified HVAC engineer :) otherwise this wouldn't be possible in the uk some countries are a lot more lax

    ok basically to cool or freeze the water if you look at the first few posts of the bottle with the coil wrapped around it well I have now stuck the coil inside a tube as such the coil freezes because it is basicaly the evaperator in the refrigeration cycle

    Ummm refrigerant is passing through the coil the water flows over the coil and cools :)

    This is done with a R507 regas the temp display on the front is about 5 degrees C out so not too bad ( there is a - in front of that 16.5 lol )

    The same way you do if you have ever used a peltier just a bit of neoprene and some dialetic grease :) also if you were to run uber cooling you will need to insulate the pipework with armaflex or something like that easy enough to do :)

    This is my left ripple I have been commisioned to build a right ripple and for myself I may just build the alusive third ripple :D :naughty:
