Windows good 2player PS1 games?

Hi guys, any ideas on good 2player ps1 games?

i currently only have tekken 3.

criteria ---> not racing games plz.

Everybody's golf 2 is great, me and my friend used to (and still do sometimes) play for hours - up to 4 players.

EDIT: I see its been mentioned allready.

 

Bust-A-Move series is good for 2-player.

I second the ISS Pro series and also recommend racing in the not-so-conventional form of Micro Machines V3 as it's not really, like, proper racing.

Yes I saw it, but I thought you may just not like proper racing games (GT) and CTR might not be a problem as it's a more of an arcade game (mario kart but better, though I can't comment on the GC version).

I notice he gets away with it and the same thing applies with my suggestion - it isn't really proper racing.

 

Yeah sorry, I was a bit harsh.

It seemed like you didn't pay any attention to the post. You just offered up a racing game with no explanations or reasoning at all.

And it is a racing game. You do laps, you come first and you win. Racing. Micro machines is different in so far as it is split up into screens, not laps. You hit the edge of the screen and you get a point. Everyone shares the same screen, 2 players on 1 controller etc etc. It's more of a party game. I would recommend it to a non-racing type gamer but CTR is definately a racer. Here's the clue: Crash Team RACING.

quake 2, much better as 4 player but 2 player is ok

then theres the unlockables of actually seeing an afro running around on centre court at wimbledon

 

the only 2 player game to play on ps1 is twisted metal 2 , yes it has cars in it but its no racing game
