Hey guys, ive been looking over the bit tech forums for about a year now and i jsut made a accnt so i thought i post a worklog here. Im trying to keep this mod under 100 bucks so that means no water cooling(unless someone wants to send me some old stuff ) so this is going to be my server case. The theme is going to be back with a silver outline around that case, should look good. Also im think of having some leds mabye blue or green dunno yet. So to get started some pics, sorry i never took any before pics. As soon as i got the case i riped it apart, so ill use the newegg one. so i started today and here are some pics of what i had done so far. [img=http://img316.imageshack.us/img316/9826/camppics004medium1dd.th.jpg] The top will have 3x 120mm fans I've started on sanding down the psu to give it that chromed look. The sides. Ok ive started on painting today..so i painted the back i/o plated holder and slot covers, the keyboard top and mouse, and someother things =) And the other things =D More updates soon!
Good luck with the case, the silvered finihsed should look good. I'm sure that PSU will look great when you sand it with some really high grit wet/dry paper.
can you really spraypaint the motherboard like that ...aint there parts that needs cooling thats gonna get trapped under the paint? hmm ...i dont know ,,,just a tought....looks like a good start anyways, mod on!
hey thanks guys, the mobo and ram works the video card didnt =( and i have that and the keyboard /mose assembled. my dad kinda droped the digi cam out of a 23 story bulding. =\ so ill try to get piics as soon as i can

Got any pictures of the camera? Anyways looks interesting so far, hopefully you don't run into any problems with the paint.
Glad to hear they still work. Any guide on this I've seen recomends putting tape/masking off the pins. Good luck with the rest of the mod.
