Graphics Multi monitor support - advice please?

    Hi guys - a friend of mine wants to do the following:

    run 4 monitors
    use pci express
    ati gfx if possible

    can this be done? If so what hardware do you recommend?

    with 4 monitors?? you might need another vid card...but i dont understand why your freind needs 4 monitors, i have 2, and thats enough for me :p

    as far as I know, you can... just buy a motherboard with two PCI-Express x16 interconnects and two ATI video cards - they should work together in the desktop environment just fine

    Thanks guys - i have no idea why he wants 4 monitors attached - he just does, my response to him was :confused: so i thought i'd ask people on bit-tech! He doesnt play games so thats not really an issue.
