I plan on making the lights on my bexel apear as there miving up and down the side, also I plan on rigging it up to do it when its processing. Where can i find a switch that is turned on by an electrical current from the mother board?
and if not where can i find a flashing unit that would work?

You better take a look at the Electronics Section and :search:

For the lights, that's commonly called Knight Rider.
And the other thing for your motherboard, depends on the load you have to drive, but either an optoisolator or a transistor together with a relay.

Anyways, head to the electronics section. ;)

Why do you want it turned on by the motherboard?

Would it not be easier to just power it from a molex? These don't get power until the PC is booted up anyway...
