I'm officially a student and while I'm not doing much of it right now, I'll be starting at MIT in nine days which should increase my workload just a little bit. Other than that, I do just about any odd job that has to do with metalworking. Welding things from construction trailers to little artisitic pieces and remachining transmission cases are what I get paid for mostly, but most of my time in the shop is spent modding which I don't get paid for .
know what you mean about the boring bit, I *can* make it boring if i want to (which most of the guys do, just sit and monitor), but i find things to keep myself occupied
Ive got a student placement in the Automation department of a truck gearbox manufacturer. No idea what my 'official' title is tbh Apart from being thrown random odd jobs, most of my work atm is working on automated transmissions, so its basically lots of cruising around in big 'ol wagons all good fun ...
Technically a "Tax Accountant" for my family firm. That being said, what I really do is run the damn place most of the time, do lots of tax work, manage all the IT, correct other peoples' screwups, and learn to manage millions of dollars in investments, which is the part I love. In none too long, I get to own the place outright, when my salary will finally catch up to all the jobs that I do now. But, we've all gotta pay the piper sometime, I suppose.
My major job is being a student and what i do is mainly stop local pubs from going out of business as im that generous with my money. Apart from that im a kp so I mainly wash dishes as well as beings the chefs general dogsbody.
Started an I.T technition job in a local upper school a few months ago - I fix things with the power of persuasion... a big hammer! Graphic Designer, but not a job yet. Did it at college and Uni but dont wanna work for someone else. Im gonna set up a clothing brand over the next year or two and hopefully get to the stage where I can do it full time. Il be posting up some designs when ive refined them (dunno if anyone will like em), thats my current logo on the left (with bit-tech colours tho), I might start afresh on it tho as I get bored off stuff easily.
