Windows W2K Control Panel cant be accesed :(

Hi has anyone faced this problem?
control panel cant be accessed. When I click it the following error comes out like the picture below.

I have even type “regsvr32 appwiz.cpl” and “appwiz.cpl” but don’t work.



Running on W2K with all patches updated.
McAfee Antivirus n MSAnti Spyware.

I see no picture... maybe you logged into another account on the system?

 

How come it's an error in Notepad?

 

Have you tried re-copying them back in:

Also do you have this installed:

http://www.nsclean.com/htastop.html

Have you checked the troubleshooting bit?

 

problem still not resolved cuz the appwiz.cpl is 99kb from w2k sp4 cd and the appwiz.cpl in my pc is 295kb :S
