which digital SLR camera?

    The Canon EOS 10D is still rated by pretty much everyone as the best digital SLR out there, as canon have such a far superior range of lenses.

    But if you've got that kinda money, i'd wait for the soon-to-be-released 5d, which has a much more superior image stabilisation mechanism.

    Alternatively, you could attempt to pick up a EOS 10D second hand for about £400 or so.

    I was under the impression that all of Canon's IS was in the lenses, not the bodies.
