Hi!! discussion here My project was made for a little home fileserver. Spec: -mATX ASrock P4I45GV motherboard -P4 1,5Ghz processor -3*mobilrack with 2 cooler -Plextor CD-RW the memo,harddisk and the power supply is not in the box becous of the money....I had to made this project in time for the compatition called Modtechall. Now i saw the compatition for the ECS motherboard so i make a try(I need to make a new family Pc) So....here is the idea for it!! the first name was X-Server but i had to understand that i can't make it just as i wabted.... I started to buy the parts: My mobo: processor: And here are the first pics of the case i made...sorry for no progress pics but my camera went RIP and i needed a new one...(too late) as you can see there were a few faults in the holes!! i needed to repair them later! I needed something new for window: made a 3mm deep and 30cm diameter ring for the smoke glass... after that i needed something for it that fitts in style: engrav work finished and have the color for its under: i have used a pasteboard for the white and fixed it in... The PSU: needed one for testing: it was a Codegen 300W mini sh*t so i dont needed !! I made a few styling work: and in place with new back: ohh and painted in black! now it's time for the frame: in place: needed some color for them : and a black coat for the front:
Now the inner view: points for mobo holding: It's a little funny but these are my mobo holding and they make a very good job!! mobo in place: now to the harder work: a few repairing : done!! i have used resin for it!! next i needed some air to get into the box: made a new blowhole on the right side of the box! then piant it black: result: finished: and now the finishing work: needed: -on/off swich -reset button -HDD/Power LED -2 vetillator for in/out air inner structure :befor/after
Ok now the power and the leds: -made 4 hole:3 on the front and 1 on the back(reset) -then painted it tho black for the theme: reset button next to the ventillator: i used a littel project box for the on/off button and led to cover them: ok everything in place: ok again this pic but if you look close you can see the project box and the cabling for it!!! on the MTH: the boy on the left corner of this pic is me )
