    You're right. I'm sorry.

    (a) Sex is often solo, with the help of the internet, I agree. But sex in general is not solo. I believe it is still forbidden to clone children. If you think a baby comes trough 'love' alone, you'll be amazed what sex has to do with it!
    (b) I am a single cell organism. Doh. Na-aah. I never said solo-sex is reproduction you did ;p. Maybe you are confused with the person jacking-off in front of porn and the actual 'sex' in the porn itself. I refer to the last one. Don't know how you came up with the first???
    (c) Porn is not necessary, I never said that. You did.
Besides I don't understand what your non-fundamentalism has to do with your reply  .

    Justifications for porn:
    - porn against frustation.
    - porn out of curiostity.
    - porn out of 'education'.
    - porn to see what ladies/men can accomplish.
    - porn because we made it part of life :naughty: .

I feel like a dirty old man, defending my theories. But that was your plan right!
    you devil!

It doesn't need justification: there isn't any. However, stuff like this:
Is nothing but mental rationalization and justification.

Anyway, I think if I keep replying, I'll end up derailing the whole thread, so: if you'd like to debate the morals of pr0n, go away, I have nothing for you; if you'd like to discuss why pr0n is "bad", I'd be happy to oblige you somewhere other than this thread.

I think .xxx is a good idea, even though the name is a bit too trashy. Should have thought of a more creative name. XXX just seems so obvious to minors and a bit trashy.

Also, i dont believe internet sites would lose any loyal customers due to the changing of domains. All they simply have to do is provide a link from their original website saying that they moved to an xxx location.

Seems a bit daft to me unless it's compulsary - and even if it was made compulsary i'd like to see it enforced effectively.

It doesn't have to be 3 letters, there's a .aero, .mobi and a .info. :p

I think what they mean is if all (by some increadible feat moving some terabytes (probably) of URLs for pr0n sites to .xxx) pr0n, or atleast most of it, is moved to .xxx, then the underage stuff would have to register under com/net/org and they would easily be caught. as there would be less normal pr0n on teh com/net/org sites. Quite frankly I gave up pr0n and got a real girl. I no longer like "flat chicks" (u dont get to touch)

People running child porn sites want to bring that much attention to themselves? I'd expect they'd not bother with domain names, and just stick to non-descript IP addresses.

more real estate... pretty much why they want it
why ppl dont want .xxx to come in I just dont know and if someone can give me a gd reason then it would prolly end this.
The net is full of porn as it is (ive done research :baby: ) so having a bit more isnt going to stop it appearing. if u dont want to watch it your going to have to block it with software - like with popups, viruses, adware etc
basically theyre run out of space and asking for more and having a dedicated domain for its overflow just seems to make sense to me

    .xxx != easy p0rn filters

Seems quack beat me to it but i've already typed this so i'll post it anyway...

The argument that it'll make p0rn easier to filter is ridiculous. Why would all the sites out there just drop their .com .org .whatever and switch over?

While p0rn is here to stay, as has been said, it doesn't need to be given a signal that it's okay by providing a .xxx domain.
