Heh, i already posted this in modding, but i didnt think i would go any further with it I started out with engraving the fatal1ty logo on one of my drive covers It was my second engraving, i think it turned out pretty well Then i engraved the logo onto the side panel I eventually cut it out Quick question: How do you suppose i could get rid of those silver area's left over from the cut? Soon i will be going to Lowes and picking up a sheet of plexi, i havnt decided how i want to mount it, either some type of adhesive or something that resembles rivits, more to come soon
I did my best getting rid of those silver area's and that scratch at the bottom (dremel slip ***) Trust me when i say it looks alot better in person.
hey what abit motherboard did your front panel oc device come with? also nice work engraving the parts. As Leeum suggested, I woiuld find a suitable thick black and touch up those areas.
ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard, its probly one of the nicest boards you can buy right now.
from reviews i read, the intel version of this board taht your looking at doesnt seem to come with this panel. if you want an intel board, i suggest the ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe, its the same price as my abit, though 200$ was well worth it for me. *edit* ho and jokkocze, what do you mean by power coat?
Good stuff, though I'll never quite understand the fanfare behind "Fata1ty (I'll indulge him with the '1')". I suppose gamers need some sort of "hero" figure, but then again, pro-athletes are pretty silly too.
Ok, i jsut went to lowes and bought a sheet of plexi, then to walmart and bought window tinting kit, i tinted the right sized sheet of plexi i cut here it is being glued on with epoxi, and my xbox holding it down lol and here it is on in the light and on in the dark, i love this pic i hope to buy some red ccl's and put one above and one below the window, also i plan to buy 3 red fans, one in the back, and 2 in the front, possibly a fourth for the blowhole.
one last pic for a good while, this is the effect i was looking for, it is a mirror in normal light, but glows through in dark
