    Hi,
My girlfriend asked me if I could make her a computer.
    I said "sure".
She sells me, "I want it worked out like yours".
    I said "sure".
She said, "I like flames, could you implent them?".
    I said "sure".
She said, "I like tribals, could you implent them?".
    I said "sure".

Seems to me, I say sure a lot, but I love to mod!
Anyway, I started ordering some things here and there, and came to a Chieftec DA-01 black tower, a beauty.

I started modding and assembling and this is the result:

I started by replacing my cheap aldi-crap fake dremel with the real thing, since this case is made out of steel. A lot of steel. I also ordered some carbon fiber re-enforced disks, because I knew this was a hard one. After hours, hours and hours of cutting, replacing disks, swearing, more cutting and engraving, I came up with this:

Should I paint the tips of the flames yellow or leave it like that? (main colors are chrome, silver and black)

    Tribal time!

The flames part I had covered, now the tribals. No more cutting, since I designed one with a bit to much curly stuff in it and to many small edges, so if I cut it, it would break. Painting would be the better option:

The only downside: the chrome paint comes af real easy, but dissolves when I try to varnish it.... No touching that!

    Now for the intestins!

My girlfriend isn't the BF2 player or something, but she likes a game once in a while, especially The Sims 2. She now plays it at my place, a lot! (wish I didn't bought it for her birthday.... :D ).
    Here are some specs:

    -Asus P4S8X-X
-GeForce 4 Ti4600 with Zalman Passive Heatsink
    -P4 2.8Ghz
    -512mb DDR333 RAM
    -Sound Blaster Live! 5.1
    -Be Quiet! 420W PSU
    -Samsung 16x DVD Player
    -Samsung 52x32x52x CD-Writer
    -Ancient FDD
    -Maxtor 160GB IDE HDD
    -5 80mm fans @7V
    -Zalman Fatality CNPS 7700Cu
    -2 red and 2 blue CCFL's

The back, also painted (I never do half jobs :hip: )
The inside. I chose mirror finished PSU, for make-up purposes or something like that...

Her prized Posession: The Zalman Fatality edition cooler (she wanted a red one, so I took that one: preformance and beauty...)

The next thing I have to do is get rid of the holes in the flames, repainting the sides in Booster Black and make the plexi for the sides.
Now, of to the Brico, getting my paint.

She says, "You should spend more time with me, rather than with that stupid computer of yours."
    And you say "...."

Good stuff, by the way. What are "tribals"?

    Little update

Got my pics resized, thanks for the tip huren
Thinking about making an electrode switchpanel (one panel of plexiglass with electrodes behind it, so it you touch the panel, it's like pushing a button) for controlling the cathodes, vents and power & reset buttons.
Just trying to find a good guide.
I also made the plexi panels, engraved the under panel with a biohazard mark which fits right in the big flame. Will be enlighted with a red cathode on sound control, so it looks like flames.

The things on top are an example of tribals (the drawings you see much in tatoos)
Thanks for the good replies :D

About the touch sensitive plexi panel: I found a guide, right here @ Bit.
    http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=100148
I will try to make a panel with 8 or 10 switches, each button with a led that lits up when you push the putton (instead of the beeper.) Hope it will work. Tomorrow is back to school-day, don't want to. I want to mod!

about your idea with the touch sensor : it will be more complicated if you want the led to burn when you press the button, the beeper is in fact a capacitator, where the led is a diode, and you need a capacitator there (so you can easily leave out the beeper and put a capacitator instead)
