Hey guys, ive recently just cleaned out my pc, and ever since it looks like

    THIS
(turquoise lines around the mouse icon, and similar pink ones around the entire screen)

it only seems to happen in 2D apps, not so much 3D, and is way worse at lower resolutions. My temps are 44/47 for the 2 7800s. so it cant be a heat problem.

BTW when i first bought the pc, it was like this, but not as bad, it somehow went away. is it some bizarre driver issue? help! :duh:

I've seen this happen when I accidently ran my nVidia card with ATi Drivers, I think your best bet would be to go to www.nvidia.com and download & install the latest Forceware drivers :thumb:

    Hope this helps

im currently running foreware 84.20 and ive got latest drivers and stuff.
see, it worked before i cleaned pc, now its like this, would seating the sli bridge badly cause this? or even the cards themselves?

Thanks for the really fast reply btw :)

Well, just double check that the cards are seated properly, and also the SLI bridge. Did you do a full uninstall of the older drivers when you installed the newer ones?

yep, sounds faulty from my experiences with vid cards. i had a TI4200 that did that 800x600 and below, and eventually it got much worse in all resolutions before it quit posting at all.

turns out RMA-ing an XFX card in europe is a little harder than expected, i picked RMA button and it says "go to propellorheads for support in europe" wtf.., ive registered an enquiry, hope all goes well :)
