Windows Belkin Nostromo speed pad

I just ordered one of these things today, anyone tried it or own one?

I've seen good reviews and various forums i've been in say its the 'holy grail' for fps fans, so i'd be interested in what you guys have to say.

/me wants on to try... they look pretty useful, I dont like the look of 'the Claw' thing thats on PCMods looks too clunky.. but the speed pad is just like a compact keyboard... intrested to know what its like

Well what can i say........

Its excellent

I would definetly recommend the n50 to anyone who plays fps.

It took about a day to get used it as the keys are spaced slightly further apart then a normal keyboard and my thumbs not used to doing much except pressing the space bar. The 8 way d-pad beside your thumb is really useful. I ahvent tried recording any Macros yet as i havent needed any so far.

I use the n50 all the time now, even for clan matches, my keyboard just feels inadequate when i use it now

 

I've had one for a while now and wrote a review for http://www.pc-arena.net check it out for more information. Personnaly I think it's a great device and very open to customising if your willing to change how you use the keyboard
