    Howdy Folks,

Just planning my summer project. I want to build a Case/HDD enclosure for a HTPC from scratch. Very similar to the Atech's 6000 and Mass Storage Devices. Although more aiming for K2 Look.

So time to source parts, etc. Right now I am trying to source the stuff for the passive cooling, such as heatpipes, copper blocks and large surface heatsinks.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    Cheers

Thanks herbs, I have all those sites.

Infact it was a review on silentpcreview.com that led me to believe I could order heatpipes seperately, However the link to AVC America they supply is dead and the Asian site does not list heatpipes.

Hence my reason for posting here.

its been done before. Theres a german company who have made passive, large heatsink htpc's (they look like power amplifiers for high end audio, mostly) for a while, i forget their name.
