I wanna cut some pieces off of the case.

How do I cut metal using what?
Is there any safety measure that I should take for the case and myself?

Depends on how much you're cutting really. You could use a nibbler tool, a dremel, a hacksaw, or even an angle grinder (with the right cutting disc)

If you'll be using high speed power tools (dremel, angle grinder) make sure to wear safety glasses and possibly a breathing filter (resperator?). You dont want the sparks or shards of discs getting you in the eyes, and picking out black boogers for a week isnt much fun either. As this smiley represents, :dremel: safety first.

    Cool Thanks for the tip.
I basically want to cut out the 5.25" drive bays and
    solder in a 3.25" bays.

    What's a nibbler tool??

A nibbler tool is utilized for cutting thin sheet metal - kind of like sissors.

You can see a picture of one here. Basically it just 'nibbles' out a small piece of metal at a time.

edit: damn, Xiachunyi beat me whilst I was finding a pic of one. :D
