Not enough room inside the new HTPC to fit a double radiator so it will be mounted on one side with the fans inside the case so decided to make something nice and why not a bit if self publicity :D

Hand cut out of 2mm aluminium same as the Flames one which should look OK against the black case.

There is also some fine aluminium mesh sprayed back behind it which makes the shiny stand out and should also help catch some dust.

Its on an XSPC X-Flow Radiator which should make pluming the system a bit easier..........i hope:S

not bad for doing it by hand, but you gotta invest in an abrassive waterjet cutter. I mean they are only like $100,000 used
    anyways good job

Wow, that looks great. Since you have that mesh behind it, why not put those cutouts from the o's and a back in?

im by no means a pesamist however i wander what the diff in temps would be with and without that aluminium plate, it seems to be covering quite an area of your rad.
    (very cool BTW;) )

I got it fitted and installed which can be seen in this thread but removed the grill to use as a template while i made another and i didn't really see any difference in temps - the main problem is the system runs 24/7 and closing the glass doors on the TV cabinet pushes the temp up by around 10 degrees to 46 on the GPU which still isn't a real problem plus i much prefer the silence in the living room tbh

    cheers
