    Hello modders,

I´m back with another project, my second one "tHe tUbE" is stopped at the moment. You can read why in that project log. But I still work on it and I hope to finished it this year ;)

But now to the current project:

I was looking for a big Aluminium Tower with enough place for a 240mm Radiator and Watercoolingsystem. This Watercoolingsystem should cool my HDDs, my CPU and my VGA.

    Good, now to my components:

I found this case in an Thermaltake Alu Tower from the Armor Series:

    Front View:

    Back view:

    Left side view:

    More infos here by Thermaltake

so I think this Case is big enough for a big Watercoolingsystem.

    Hello,

hereby some new pictures. I built two small peices of alu, for my 240 radiator.
This should later built in front of the case. I show it in the next update.

So here now some pics: enjoy it ;)

in this Foto you can see, I have to cut off some small pieces from the aluminium.

    and holes for the screws:

    Finished:

I decided not to use the original fans from the radiator, because in the TT Alucase are 2 blue LED Fans inside. So I will take them.

    the naked radiator ;)

and finished with the new blue ones:

Nice components, especially this watercooling-stuff from Preytek looks very nice. but I don't like this case :/

P.S.: Kannst du die Bilder vielleicht etwas kleiner machen. Selbst mit DSL dauert das ewig!

    hi

@jrs77.. photo size is fixed ;), but I like this case :D. I looked for bigsize case for enough place for the watercooling system. And its all aluminium, so its not so heavy as a case with steel.

    So long th.

    Update part 2

    hi @all

and wb to my second Update for today.

I will show you how I have to modificate my hddcage. This one is only for three Hdds, and there is not enough space for a Hddcooler. So I have to cut off same parts ;)

The cage is riveted, so I have to drillout all rivets. And I got now one of the three holder:

But the Cooler should be install that I can see the Cover from Preytek. So the holes for the Hdd does not fit. I cut of the sheet metal:

Now everthig alright. I use 4 O-Rings against the vibrations:

    Finished:

But before I all assembly I will ask the support of Samsung if there is any problems when I use the Hdd headover.
They said me there is no problem in which way the Hdd inserts.

    And this looks like this:

Here a look in front of and from inside:

so bye and thx for your attention.

    Bye Thargor :dremel:
