The designs are just cool and for surfin' thu the net and other office-work the machines inside would do perfectly. I've in mind to do something with the new Nano-ITX-Boards from VIA but I don't know if it's worth until I still need a more powerful machine as well for working.
The Unidyne PC is Maximum PC's "Rig of the Month" for August. I shot all new photos for the article. I have also entered it into Extremetech's 3rd Annual Case Mod Contest. It should be a great competition. For you UK readers, the project will be featured in the next issue of PC Answers. Cheers!
Nice mod, very original. You have very good woodworking skills. I'll be sure to buy the August Ed. of the magazine. -aaron
On my web site. See first post. Is PC Answers a decent magazine? They are owned by the same people who own Maximum PC.
Nice job, I love how it doesn't look like wood, but it is! Very well done. Does it have a special purpose, or is it just pure looks? Also, is there a microphone connected inside it, so you could sing into it if you wanted? Just an idea.
Thank you! No microphone. I wouldn't be caught dead talking into a giant microphone. I'm considering using it as an MP3 server on my home network. I think that would seem appropriate. It would need a larger hard drive.
