    This question is kinda hard...
    So here I go..

Now we have a Karaoke machine (not your standard DVD/Karaoke Player)
the parts are similiar to a PC
(MoBo with integrated CPU, Roland SC-88 or 66.., HDD..and so on..) anyways..
it updates Firmware and new songs and what not with a Flash ROM cartridge..

now I had problem with the ROM cartridge..the tech support is not very helpful.
but he did mention the ROM cartridge was made up of flash memory..

I know this was delivered to us through air-mail...
I can't guarantee that it went through the x-ray machine..
but I'm guessing it did, and now the problem arises..
It doesn't WORK..and we have no solution..

my mom did mention to me that the ROM cartridge was normally sent in
    anti-static plastic bag..

Would the cartridge ROM be damaged by X-RAY?
Also could the anti-static bag protect the ROM from the X-RAY?
(Remember that ROM is flash memory..)

I would like anyone with any knowledge even little could help me out right now..^^

    What is not working?

Is it the ROM Upgrade which doesn't work? Or have you performed the upgrade and now the whole thing doesn't work?

If it is the first option, then they should send you a replacement ROM.

If it is the second option, then your system is probably dead and you should contact their tech support to see what your warranty is and how they will go about fixing it.
