    Why do 10000 make up 4 blue genes, wouldnt it be simpler just to say 2500 PS3s are equavalent to a blue gene? :\ 'ps3 now 4 times the power of blue gene'!! omgg!!1 i wantonw1!!

    lol :D indeed, but theres much speculation to whether aliens actually exist. Theres no doubt about the existance cancer, and the project aims to develop an understanding as to why these diseases happen. And hopefully allow us to develop treatments for it.

    i don't think F@H has actually achieved any cures for cancer, although i thought that it has actually helped, and maybe a cure for something else (it would probably say on the F@H page if they had)

    But still, its a great idea :)

    Of course not, its a long road towards a cure. But you know what they say "every journey starts with single step" and every protein that is folded is a step towards that goal! :)

    I'll believe in the Cell processing power when I see it, until then its just hype aka advertising.

    lol, the cell chip does exist, they just need to mass produce the bloody thing, what do you think is in the dev box's ?

    Its not that I don't think it doesn't exist, I just don't think its all its hyped up to be.
