well there is some Motherboard & CPU Bundle deals on ebay and i was wondering if they are any good Processor----Intel Pentium 4 3GHz 800FSB 1MB Cache Socket 775 Mother Board----ASUS P5VDC-X Memory----1024MB (1GB) PC4200 533MHz DDR2 RAM for £195.00 +£13.48 p+p or processor----INTEL PENTIUM IV DUAL CORE 5.33 GHz (2.66 GHZ x 2) mother board----Choice of Asus P5VD2-MX MOTHERBOARD OR Asus P5P800-VM MOTHERBOARD memory----nun but u get a case with it u get the Choice of XBLADE PC GAMING MID-TOWER COMPUTER CASE WITH 450W PSU or BLACK & SILVER JUPITER CASE WITH 480 WATT PSU for £159.95 +£14.95 p+P
They're not bad tbh, I'd say the first one is a pretty good deal, but it's not dual core, so that limits its future-proofness. The second one might not be too bad, if the case is ok, but the PSU would have to go as it'll be a bag of shite.
Both are absoloute rubbish to what can be had right now. Only ways to go is either AMD AM2 or Intel Core2Duo. I'd personally wouldnt go for a mobo with a "budget" chipset as thats rather important, i know these are cheap but not worth it as they are outdated technology, hell i'd still get a 939 bases system compared to what is on that list.
What's your budget and what parts do you need for that budget? What are you going to be using the PC for?
haha, I love the way some companies try to ******** you and call an 805 P4 a "5.3GHz processor". Idiots. It's two 2.66GHz cores For a budget budget I'd go with one of those: Dual core = smoothness What you using it for? What's your budget?
