Graphics top half of sli not working

    It would appear (to my untrained eye) that one of the cards is f*cked enough to not display itself. It looks like the load-balancy software bit that renders approximately half the frame is only getting signal from 1 card, and the other is like, "WOOP! I GO CRAZY NOW!"

    Of course, I am known for not knowing what I am talking about, so wait for someone who knows.

    both cards are fine i believe. i've switched them and it's always the top one that messes up.

    test the monitor on another pc it might be shot.

    Sounds like a board to me. Either it's not talking at the PCI-express level or the board has serious northbridge instabilities.

    I expect it's the slot itself if you've switched the cards and had the same problem. Have you tried running one card on it's own in the PCI-E slot that's having the problem? That way you should be able to determine if the slot is buggered.
