GeForce and TNT2. GO parts are mobile chips for laptops.

    bump?

the file keeps re-appearing, but with an updated date, and there is always a sysdata file as well. even if i delete them they appear later on. it is happening more and more frequently?

i looked through the sticky, and i turned off automatic restart.

when the error next happened it came up with a blue screen. it said the problem was, or included etc:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and

    Beginning dump of physical memory.
    Physical memory dump complete.

i have no idea what any of that means. my system specs, off the top of my head:

    asus a8n sli deluxe motherboard
    amd 64 4000+
    2x geforce nvidia 7800 gt
    1gb corsair ddr4400
    200gb maxtor diamondmax hdd
    creative soundcard

i dont seem to have the firewall on my computer, and when looking at Nvidia display drivers i could not find any called IDE drivers?

Run the nVidia nforce driver install, and uninstall the IDE drivers and firewall (or remove everything and reinstall everything else)

by installing the nforce drivers i have been able to keep it from restarting too much but it still occurs? is there anything drastic i can do in order to get rid of this, as it is starting to become far too annoying. i can put all my stuff on an external hd.

    cheers

There could be firmware update for your hard drives regarding uncompatibilities with nforce4 motherboards.

Well, you could try searching if one is available trough maxtor's product support pages. If not then you'll need to contact their technical support by email and ask if there is a firmware support to your hard drives.
