about a week ago i installed a new cpu and motherboard for a friend after his old motherboard died. it is a epox EP-9NDA3I with an amd 64 3200+ with 1.5 gb of ram. the hardware installed with no prob and installing windows was a breeze. everything seemed to be perfect for a week.

i repair computers for a living and normally i'd just pass it off as a dead motherboard, but i really don't wanna give in this easily since i just built it and its seems to be a really nice computer.

now when you press the power button it gets power for 1 sec then goes off. in the 1 sec that its on the diag lcd reads FF. which is what it should say after a successful post so i don't know whats going on there.

i've tried jumping the switch with a screw driver. removing all the cards. a different psu. switched out the ram. reset the cmos. removed the cpu and resetted it. and nothing.

    any help would be appreciated.
    thank you

Have you checked the power supply?
