Anyone able to recomend a good USB KVM switch to let me use a single USB Mouse and Keyboard across two computers. I've had a little search and Belkin seems to be the most common brand, however from what I've read they can be a little slow switching and poorly made?

Anyone have any experince with them or recomend me something?

    Thanks

    Hiren

I was asking for peoples own experince rather than "check here". I've already had a good hunt around so I'm looking for personal recomendations.

Edit/ Anyone had any experinces with Aten switches?

I had the Belkin one, and it was a POS. Switching was tempramental to say the least (sometimes multiple button presses were needed, sometimes it'd take a while to register and those multiple button presses become multiple switches), and it has this lovely feature where if both computers are off, it'll keep switching until it finds a computer that's on. This normally wouldn't be a problem, except it uses a relay for switching, which is quite audible. I had to resort to removing the USB cable from one of the computers so it'd stop doing it. At that point, I might as well switch everything manually.

Dare i say it, i had a budget KVM from ebuyer, for controlling my servers. It only cost me £10 but was remarkably reliable. It was quick at switching, and didn't require more than one button combo push to switch. That said, it did start to faulter a bit after 14 months with some mouse issues, but it was well worth the money.

He's after a USB one though.

One thing that might work - get 2 USB->PS/2 convertors for the KB and mouse, get a cheap PS/2 KVM as suggested above and off you go. :)
