GREAT site for sandpaper and other abrasive products.

The last time I ordered from them I got:
Three 50 packs of 9"x11" silicon carbide wet/dry sandpaper for about $15 each. They stock from 60 to 2500 grit. I ended up getting 600, 1200, and 2000.

EDIT: They also accept Paypal, and have a flat rate for shipping:

Shipping: $5.95 for entire order - FREE on orders over $100!

looking for Weld-on 4 in the UK? takes 4-6 weeks delivery, but it's worth the wait. They will ship (!) it from the US.

After getting extremely cheesed off with the fact that US modders get all the best modding gear, whilst UK modders have to scrabble around for bits of plastic, I've put together a list of some of the best UK sites that I've used or come across recently:

    Farnell
    www.farnell.co.uk
UK Source for the QT110 chips, price includes fast delivery (min. £20) has lots of other interesting stuff.

    Chronos Engineering
    http://www.chronos.ltd.uk/acatalog/
Good source for Engineering tools, including milling machines, lathes, precision tools etc. I also get my Alu sheets from these guys.

    Middlesex Uni Teaching Resources (MUTR)
    www.mutr.co.uk
These guys do a product called Tensol-12, which I believe is a decent alternative to the more difficult to obtain in the UK, Weld-on #4. I have received a bottle of this, and from the faceful of fumes I got when I opened the bottle, this seems like some serious sh*t... I'll put up more details about this once I've given it a proper workout. MUTR do lots of other unusual bits and pieces like Carbon fibre and fibre-optic.

    Demon Tweeks
    http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/
Car accessories. Pricey, but have some nice stuff like plug wire seperators - worth it for the money-no-object mod.
