My system consists of a Naim Nait 2, Custom built speakers using Kef B200 sp1014 woofers and tweeters from tannoy/mission's. A matsui CD player Which is really terrible but it was free and I don't have many cd's but I am planning on upgrading it to a cambridge audio player, but not top priority. Also got a computer plugged into it which is an incredibly powerfull p200 400mhz which does fine because it's currently not in use. More information in my Diy speaker thread: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=119088 Finnally the picture.
My uni system; Acoustic Research AR-94 Speakers, Kenwood KA-4040R Amp, Marantz CD-52 MKII Special Edition. I've also just got a Boston Sub10F Subwoofer which I've placed under the bed pointing upwards Only brought the speakers because of the size, but later found out some of the history and following they have. Safe to say this system is better than all the pc speakers I've gone though (Logitech z-680s, Creative S750 - which I still have at home).
My 1337 setup! 2 Taannoy Stratfords backed by 2 Tannoy M1's (I'm a Tannoy fan boy ) Sansui A5 amp (FREE!!!) Cambridge audio tuner Accoustic solutions CD Player Wired with some Gale HYPERLITZ And thats just about it! PS: and before you ask, yes, I did put the dremel poster on my wall.

Nothing much, mainly used for movies and some music. Throws sound like nothing else (barely turned up and you can hear it perfectly clear throughout the house; little bit higher than that and it's perfectly audible outside, with all the doors and windows closed). Click for bigger/movie collection (little over 300 videos). Custom mood lighting behind the cabinet. So, basically these are the components: *Acer AT4220A. Despite the specifications, this TV does do 1080p. *Pioneer VSX-516K. *Panasonic 4-head hi-fi VCR. *No idea anymore on the make of the speakers, but they've got four mid-range, 10" speakers rated at 80watts each. I've also added in a single 3" Phillips tweeter to the back of each box. These will be upgraded in the near future, or will just buy/build a subwoofer for the system. *The computer that is hooked up is a duron 1.5 with 768MB of RAM. Still waiting on a wireless keyboard/mouse to use with it. *Not shown is a PS/2 and Gamecube that is hooked up behind the two sofa's in a corner. These are hooked up to a switch box (hidden behind a couple pillows normaly) then run over to the receiver. These are located where they are so as to reduce cable clutter.
Will post pics when I can get hold of camera: CD Player : NAD C521BEE Amplifier : NAD C320 Speakers : B&W (Can't remember name and cba to find booklet, but they are beech wood and not floorstanding)
lovely headphones - are you a head-fi'er or were you forced to pay the massively inflated second-hand prices?
Head-fi'er ... #330, one owner from new ... Although it was Kameleon's (i think that's the spelling) post about them here that put me on the path.
Little update to mine ... Nad C542 CD player now in my possession, this time in its natural habitat (on my hi fi rack):
You can't beat tubes for sexay-ness, that's for sure, and that Pathos is gorgeous. When i was deciding on amp choices, it was between the canamp (solid state, factory assembled) and the Mapletree Ear Purist +HD, which is tube, and with the exchange rate to the dollar, works out at a similar price if i opted to self buld it. Chose the canamp in the end though, mostly because it's available in this country, and i didn't fancy any hassle with customs.
Ive not got any pics yet but my setup is a pair of Jamo classic 8 floorstanders, yamaha ax396 amp and technics slpg500a cd player, it is bloody loud. very good at annoying the neighbors lol
I have gotten some more stuff since i last posted my setup. SONY STR-DE 697 Reciever Yamaha YSP106 6.1 Speakers (i want to replace them with a set of JBL Stadium Speakers) Technics Turntable JVC 5 Disc CD Player Appogee Casette Deck I should really take a pic
My poor mans setup... Source: Creative Audigy4 (i know, i know... I'm a gamer and can't afford an X-FI, or at least a separate soundcard for music/movies ) Amp: DSE A2760 (re-branded Koda KD-261), pre-amp removed. Beats AUD$500 NAD amps with this mod, and i payed AUD$129 for my amp Speakers: Custom built - 8" Response Woofers, 1" Response Dome tweeters. and for when everyone else is sleeping: Headphones: Audio Technica ATH-A900 Pic, before i modded the amp and got my A900s Not exactly the best place for speakers, but theres no room anywhere else
