Horray! its finally snowed and when i woke up i was so happy, so i raced downstairs and started lobbing phat snowballs at my house-master.... ooh the gags... any way, this is what i can see out of my windows...
Good morning and welcome to Chichester, Sussex. My front door one way: My front door the other way: My back garden: Such a nice feeling, getting up and its just a white background Sam
We got 3cm at radley....At home there's a flooded field (2ft deep) - and it's frozen. 20acres of 5cm ice (no pics yet, but hopefully get home this weekend before it melts!)
And here I am, in a country that it hardly gets cold, let alone snow. Oh how I wish I lived in the UK.
The didn't bother gritting a few relatively prominent roads around here conveniently. Managed to scape the bejeesus out of my rear driver's side wheel by sliding into a curb :/ Fortunately there wasn't anything coming in the other direction and I was only going around 10mph
I have no snow... its been snowing but then overnight it rains and it all goes away... and now its sunny.
And I've been having fun trying to get my windscreen replaced for an acceptable ammount of moneys I've had a VERY small stone chip on the screen for years (it was even there from the previous owner who I know) and it finally decided to go this morning. What was a small problem has now turned into a 1ft wide £112 crack. Sadly my insurance is 3rd party (all I can afford being 22 and all) so I've been phoning round trying to get that sorted. £300 (from Atuoglass) was my worst quote, and a local windscreen fitter wanted £96+vat (so around £112) which is much better Still, I can think of many better ways to spend that money.
Obligatory post about how I live in Finland/New York/Canada and get THIS much snow for breakfast, etc.
I know where you're coming from, being from Vermont and all. Though TBH I hate snow for anything other than interesting photography. Something to do with horrible bloodflow so I'm always cold, and thus detest cold weather. Been quite mild this year though.
Its having a go here in Manchester, snows very lightly for a few minutes and then stops must admit I do enjoy pelting my sisters with snow, good fun
