    Hey all
I am trying to find a Case for a new system i will be building in few
weeks. I am thinking of something like LIAN LI V2000+ because i want
something with a lot of room (for those big GPU's). Any one know of
any other good cases. Price is not a big deal but i don't want to spend to
much more that the Lian Li
    Thanks

You don't need that big of a case to fit large GPU's such as an 8800GTX.

Ditto, maybe the V1000 line since it's the same but smaller :)

You may have problems sticking 8800GTX in Stacker 830? To me it seems like the case isn't too deep and you can't remove the cage.. I don't know the actual measurements, but I'd check it before buying. Also the fan-bracket (4x 120*120) is just ridiculous :)

The Lian Li v2000 is great! One problem with it tho is the HDD caddies, these work well, but if you have a few (say 8 or so) then they run very hot. All I did in the end was cut a whole for a fan (120mm) and it cooled them down by 15-20C

    I would recommend getting one!

    Regards

How about a Lian Li PC-A10? Gorgeous case!! Stunning build quality!! I'd say it's a near perfect case apart from 2 minor niggles.

Firstly, there's only room for 5 HDDs in the bottom bay of the case. Secondly, there's only one intake fan at the front. The second intake fan is either the roof fan or the side fan module thingy....if you flip the fans over. that gives you 2 in, 2 out, but IMHO it's a wierd layout. The problem is easily solved by buying one of these and popping it in the front. Then you have an airflow system identical to the Antec P180, 2 intakes at the front, 2 exhaust at the rear. This is how I've got my PC-A10 setup, though it does mean giving up 3 5.25" bays out of 7 (6 with floppy bay installed).

Ah so THAT's what SLI-ready means when talking about cases :D I've actually been wondering what the F does the case have to do with being "certified" or not.. Thanks for the info!
