If you haven't bought a 939 CPU + RAM, then go for an AM2 one instead - there's really no point in buying a DDR-based system now unless you've already got DDR and a 939 CPU.

If this is an upgrade or whatever, go for the Asus. Biostar are a budget division of Abit (iirc, can't be sure) and the first link is a better board. :) :thumb:

Yup... assuming you've already got the CPU... the Asus wins hands-down for sure :thumb:

are you building from scratch? starting with cpu? give us an idea...if you have nothing, intel's core 2 duo (in case you didn't know) has wrenched the performance crown from amd...so if you are starting with nothing, go that route...no more expensive than a good amd system...if you are interested, let us know and we will offer a bounty of c2d ideas

    Right. What's the budget?

At the moment, Intel are the performance kings, and an E6300 from them is a fast, cheap processor.
If you really have to go AMD from budget restrictions, go for an AM2 system - S939/S754 are a dead-end with DDR memory instead of DDR2.
