    Thats really good :) ... Dont think they can be prosecuted to linking to torrents as they dont store any content themselves.

    What if it's a dummy site set up by the MPAA to ensnare file sharers? Wouldn't be so funny then.

    wow that's certainly a fancy move, they've got the MPAA/RIAA on the ropes :p

    Anyway, they may as well just put up a two finger salute with MPAA/RIAA on it :p

    well according to the other article posted - it seems piracy doesnt really do anything to sales....fancy that!

    I think this is the way to go in fact. Piracy in secret and hiding only proves the mpaa/riaa's point. But out in the open like this, with clear explanation as to why sales are down and piracy is up, along with suggestions for improving the situation is perhaps a good start to actual change.

    Or they'll just raise prices because of the "rampant" piracy, instead of trying to compete or change.

    probably the latter I'm afraid.

    the music industry is strange, usualy companies lower prices to reflect decreasing demand but they increase them. How strange.
