this is what happen when you get bored, and get the desire to mount your radiator in the rear of you pc. to make it transportable (as it was just sat around in the frount of my pc) Tools warhammer clippers. so you dont damage you warhammer 40k when taking it off the mold things befour glueing togerther (this is what they look like now. after attacking my pc) And finished Closer look at the inside And out at least its only a Thermaltake case , i think i might have to get a befour i get a new case ive also attacked the top of my case to fit a dual rad in. but i will show you when thats done. because hopefuly when thats done. you should't be able to see the any damage
The clippers are so much tougher than they get credit for, ive had 2 pairs in about 11 years (good god is it that long) despite stopping with warhammer quite some time ago now (although ive still got everything in boxes). They'll take loads of punishment though, yours look fairly new, cos a) the spring still works and b) they arent *that* damaged good work though, if a bit ghetto
wow looking good, thats the real mans way of modding attack it with tools and just hope it goes well lol
You gotta do what you've gotta do! My res is currently blu-tacked to the side of my case after realising that Cape 25 Coolplex + PA160 + DDC Ultra just wont go into a PC-65.. i admire you modding!
Haha, nice. Reminds me of something I did once... many years ago, I got tired of my slow old pentium 100 and got some fancy upgrade kit designed for older sockets, I think it was an AMD K6-2 in the middle. Anyway, with the socket adaptor, and larger cooling fan, it was tall enough that I couldn't put the mobo tray back in once it was installed - part of the drive bay was in the way (it was a cramped case). So naturally, I 'modded' the drive bay with a pair of tin snips. --Impeesa--
I used a pair of those to cut the fan grills out the metal part of my case...didn't actually look that bad, although I cleaned it up with a dremel afterwards..
Alright for some! My Warhammer clippers snapped after about 6 months of cutting almost exclusively plastic minis, and when I go to do a head-swap on a metal mini, i get a piece of clipper in my arm... Well done, but so ghetto it's untrue... Joe
There is a new pic, shows the damage without a radiator covering it up. and there is my attempt to cut a hole for a dual radiator, could look allright covered up with a grill but now the case is doomed for spares, i think i will invest in some proper tools sometime. and use the motherboard try from it. and make myself a nice case
i snapped the blades off my set when i tried to cut through a rather chunky piece of steel. looks like yours did better
Warhammer Clippers ? They look like regular side cutters to me... Nothing like paying $25 for a $5 tool though is there?
