    Hi,

    I've been thinking about making a case from scratch for a while now and need someone to point me in the right direction.

    I wanted to use aluminium but i'm unsure of which thickness, grade etc to get.

    Also,

    Where is the best place for me to buy it from and what kind of price would it cost?

    I live in Edgware, Middlesex/London area (UK)

    Any pointers would be a great help.

    Many thanks,
    Trev

    for the frame would squar tubing be a good choice and for the panels is 1mm or 2mm thick alu.
    Hope this helps a bit:)

    Thanks mate.

    I was thinking of using some angle for the frame rather than tubing.

    Tried searching for alu stockists in my area but don't seem to be having much luck. tut lol

    angle should work fine both L and U shaped will do only the squar tubing is a bit stronger (and a nice place to hide wires ;
