my friends was overheating and going VERY slow after 5 mins of been powered up. so we opened it up. drilled lots of holes in the case. and shoved some old ramsinks in there. worked a lot better.

Nah, not going to add a fan, its in the room next to me and i can just about deal with the high pitch squeel it makes when connecting. the heatsinks on it are only chip sinks and cant cope with much heat, but im going to add a big blue zalman heatsink soon and ill use some of that non removable thermal paste to keep it together.

ive actualy put butane in it and lit it :D the amazing thing is that i can hold it whilst its alight! the butane makes the bottom cold as... -10c @ least!
so i will make watercooling. but to b on the safe side ill mount it upside down or put some plastic over the non-watercooled areas

i dont have a pump yet lol!

My crystal ball shows a disturbing image of solder joint failure in your future.

But, maybe it's just the lighting. On my screen, it doesn't look like you removed the paint before soldering.

lol ive tested it @ full pressure from a hose. and then i covered most of the other end... and nothing leaked! so i think its good 4 a crappy pump... the only problem is that i want to build this into a moderatly small box. it will have the pump, reseviour, pump speed control, waterblock and the dlink all in one, hopefully small, box.

18% connectivity ? wow thats quite bad. me and my sisters computer have at least 80% connection all the time. i have changed the crappy antenna on the router for a bigger one though and for bigger antennas on both mine and my sisters comp. Dont you think WC is abit extreme ??

A neat hole in the side of the case with a 'Zalman (ZM-NB47J) Blue Northbridge Heatsink' i think would do the job really well.. that and bigger antennas. :)
