hey pplz Ive got a Evesham Voyager C720 which is a rebranded Clevo M575A. Firstly I it picked it up for £600 bout 7months ago from Evesham Stock Clearance, you reckon i got a good deal? Its a kewl laptop in will do me for another year or 2 but the looks are pretty bland, wanna know if you have any recomendations on how to make it look better. Kewl paint job, maybe some decals etc etc any company in UK that does that sorta stuff? thanks
You can buy sticky-backed vinyl/decals from any good PC modding store... +/or even your local DIY shop If you want to try painting it... have a read of this 'how to'
thanks bru, that should help loads, just wish had local company who could do it here in england.......what i'd really love is having the glowing razer logo just like on the deather in center of lid
i dont know of any modding stores at all im afraid, not into the scene at all as most come of as well tacky to me. im more into clean lines and awesome design.....few mods take that route but very very few and even fewer pull it off i'm after a place that'd be able to give my laptop nice metalic black paint job and hopefully be able to get da glowing razor logo ale deathadder on the laptop lid
Kustom PC's offer 'kustom' paint jobs (amongst other modding services - i.e. side panel window cutting/fitting, blowhole cutting etc). It would be worth emailing Graeme and the rest of the team at sales@kustompcs.co.uk, and asking if they'd be prepared to do it for ya/get a quote It would mean you'd have to send your laptop to them though, obviously. I'm sure a quick Google would reveal over a dozen [UK] online stores which specialise in selling PC modding gear? Alternatively... browse the various modding forum sections on here, because the more common stores have been mentioned often As already mentioned above... Kustom PC's are a prime source for everything you're likely to need. Even if they don't stock whatever it is you're after, they're not averse to sourcing one-offs (if they can). All it requires is a quick email to the address mentioned above, and they'll get back to ya sharpish Fleetwood Computers are another good source for modding gear
