Hello guys, I want to use Tri-Color LEDs to replace my CCFL. I wish to use 20 Tri-Color LEDs (if possible), 10 on each side. The problem is I don't know how to make a controller to control the LED colors. Anyone able to help? Thanks.

just google rgb led control and you will find many ways to control them here are two more http://www.emanator.demon.co.uk/bigclive/rgbcont.htm http://www.best-microcontroller-projects.com/rgb-led.html
You don't get tri-colour LEDs with 4 legs. The one you have posted is a RGB LED - One leg common, one anode leg each for red, green and blue.
There's maybe a terminology problem here. I know 2 LEDs in a package were once often called tri-color, especially if a 3-lead package, as you could easily get either colour alone or a mix of the two. Now some sites sell what they call "tricolor RGB" in 4-lead common anode and common cathode. "Rainbow", "Full color" or just "RGB" is clearer if you want one that can give any colour, like the 6-lead Kingbrights.
Can I use 4-lead to connect those controller without using 3 different color led? Manual control would be nice like the 1st link.
