I'm glad to see a price drop as the PS3 is now within the scope of possibility with me. However, I can't help but wish Sony decided to go with a 120GB HD for the $599 one. I still think the $599 price is a decent one considering you get Motorstorm in the bundle, but 20GB is hardly worth $40. Hell, I could spend $94.99 and get a 160GB 2.5" HD from Newegg. Oh well, no reason to complain, this is good news, nonetheless.

Very tempted to import one now, then I could play NTSC PS2 games on it too. I just know customs will be waiting....

Still wont sell tho. Even after a price drop, there simply isnt a reason to buy one. And dont say the games as it looks like PS3 have literally one AAA title left.
Sony are gonna get another rapeing due to the 80gig model having software emulation like the gimped European model, plus the Elite will still be cheaper, even in Europe.

Too bad they stopped selling the 20GB model. I'd be tempted if they were selling that for $399.
