Very clean metal-work.. It seems the machine has changed quite a bit since last I looked. I must have missed something, I wish I had more time to keep up with these PL's!

Hot damn! You pulled it off again. Another amazing update just as we wanted. How do you do it every time?

Will the shroud be polished chromy or painted in black?

The custom bend alu is fantastic, it seems to be a "normal" part of the case!
But, man, with this big pile of new hw you drive me insane!
Good work as usual, dear friend, this was a relly big update!

    Finally an update
I like the hardware, I've had the exact same gfx card in my hands just yesterday (when I was assembling my bro's new Q6600 system :naughty:) and I got the same reservoir lying around somewhere. I'd opted for the Seagate though (got 3x320GB myself).

Too bad you didn't get that much work done on the project itself. I'd hoped for more after such a long time. Everybody deserves a vacation sometimes though ;) Nicely done too.

    Stunning.

I've read the whole thread, the only one I have seen that impressed me so much was Franklins AluMax.

Just keep doing the same and keep the quality as high and you'll be in the worlds elite, I think you have a very nice future awaiting with workmanship like this.

    Just simply love it.

Thank you all for your comments, it's nice to see that OM hasn't been forgotten while I was taking a break from modding.

    @Javerh

I'm not actually sure yet, but I'm thinking painted black at the moment.

Oh and if you didn't already notice, I've started yet another project, it's in my sig, so go check it out if you're interested.

    great job.
I'm jealous of your black pcb 8800gts. I wanted one myself and when I ordered my asus card, I was under the impression it would be black (all the publicity pics by asus showed them with black pcb). It turned out to be regular green; oh well.

Wow, I haven't been here in a while, but nothing looks like the Orange Monster I remember from forever ago, I'm not sure whats going on, but it looks like you know what you are doing, whatever that is? Good luck on this project. I'll try to check it more often been to distract, this time with knives, I think that my cycle will turn back to pcs soon enough. Enough about me Good job so far.

Excellent choice on the Laing DDC Btw.

    Awesome!

I love watching this work log - so much detail, so much incredibly fine work. One question nagged at me though - you are going to replace the cover of the Alphacool Repack reservoir with your signature orange acrylic, aren't you? It would be a shame to pass up that little detail, right?
