CPU Micro ATX -> ATX

    another n00b question..... phillips ls2100 has the small motherboard (think it's the micro one)....anyway will the CPU from that motherboard fit onto a ATX mother board or do I have to get a new one?

    The CPU will fit in another mobo just fine, as long as it has the same socket (LGA775). Its just the mobo which is a different size.

    depends on the socket,, look at both sockets and compare.. it should say somthing like "LGA775" S939" and so forth...
