    Hi Guys,

I have build a nice system and submerged them in oil.... The oil will be cooled with a XT 360 Radiator and nice Fans

    The Specs

    Intel P4 D 3.4 Ghz
    Asus EN8800GTS 320MB
    Asus P5WDG2 WS Board
    2 80GB WD Raid0 Disks
    3GB RAM
    Einheim 1250 Waterpump (1200 L/h)
Xtreme Radiator with 6 120mm Fans
21Lit Acquaruim fillet with Mineral Oil

I had installed a ''bubblemaker'' u see it in the older vids on youtube, but the last time i close the case
i forgot this funky thing, and closed all with silicone. I wait untill i must reopen the case and then i reinsert them.

I havent waterblocks, the pump and the radiator are only to cool the oil directly. The CPU will be cooled with
a normal Air CPU cooler with a Fan, it works fine. After 4H testing with 3D Mark all temps are under 60 C.

someone can tell me how to show a thumb with link of the youtube vid? thx

You simply put only the letter/number code at the very end of the whole "http://youtube.com/watch?v=" string between YouTube tags (i.e. only the bit shown in bold here: "http://youtube.com/watch?v=MsobSDdnV6A" --Nexxo

    greets ur Don Olio

PS: Sorry 4 my bad english

looks cool. maybe a few more pics in brighter room or something.

are you having oil flow through tubing and waterblocks too? wouldnt it just being submerged in oil be good enough?

anyways one cool thing you could do is putting in one of those fish tank bubble makers. unless you did.

good job. hope you get video working. i dont know how.

    Looks Cool

Wow - That looks excellent :jawdrop:

Just a bit messy on top - maybe you should put a cover on the PSU before someone gets fried

    But definitely Wow :jawdrop:

Does the RAD cool the oil by much, would the system be OK without it?

    Thx

i like the open PSU, and its surrounded of plexy glass, so nobody can touch them
But the top Cover is not finished, i wanna do it better...

Yes the RAD does his job very good:

After 4h 3D Mark without RAD i Have this Temps: PSU 32 CPU 62 GPU 65 OIL 40
With RAD (and fans on) : PSU 18 CPU 51 GPU 55 OIL 32

wanna xperiment some more with submerging... :)

    Blimey :D
Looks cool (hehehe). How effective are those "turbine" fans? Compared to other 'bog standard' 120's, the airflow, noise and static pressure specs (especially important[?]) don't seem particularly outstanding -- do they work OK?

They arent very effective, but nice to see :) coz of this i installet 3 of the good ones on the back of the RAD (SilenX iXtrema PRO 120mm 14dBa - Red, with 1400 U/min)

Specs of Aerocool Turbine 1000 Fans:

    950 U/min, 63,65 m³/h, 19,66 dBa, the are very loud 4 950u/min only :), but they looks awesome

    Thx 4 Help Nexxo

It was the hardest thing, to get that oil, and its very expensive :-(

Maybe i next Time i find cheaper or better one... its about 4€/lit.

When the oil reach over 30C it smells like in a metal fabric, so i have closed
    every hole with silicone.
