    Hi,

My mum has just gotten an iPhone(!) and needs to copy her contacts list across to it. It was a company phone so the list is HUGE. The existing phone is a Nokia 6230i. I have tried the 'Nokia PC suite' but it only lets you either view the contacts as a list (can't seem to copy it), or backup the lot which comes out as a '.nbu' file.

Is it possible to mass-transfer contacts phone -> phone?
Or failing that maybe reduce them to .csv or something?

    Thanks in advance,
    profqwerty

I managed to transfer the contacts from my 6300 by connecting it up and sycing the contacts with outlook through the connectivity suite. I then checked the sync contact from outlook option in itunes.

Bluetooth the contacts to a mac or pc as a vcf file and then import that into either address book.app or your outlook contacts. that's how i did it, worked a treat.

If it was a company phone, she should be able to export the contacts from outlook or whatever. The iPhone syncs with Outlook on the PC and Address Book on the Mac, both of which accept several formats for importing contacts
