I made these pics smaller so they are clearer. and also, the yellow is alot brighter but thats how the light came in. (it looks closer to the color it is on the second picture)

    hey.
Bootvi: well, it was a long process. 2-3 coats of primer, after each coat, i sanded lightly. they i did the same for the 6 coats of paint and well, asl you can see, thats how it turned out.

Spike: yep, im pretty sure it is an Inwin case. (when i got my computer put together a few years back, when i was alot younger and didnt know anything about computers, i never asked what kind of case i have. but yep, thats what it looks like).

Damn, that is one nice paint job, wish I'd spent more time on mine to get it looking as good as that! One fine mod bud, I like the bit badge ;)

    yeah, looks cool!

But I always ask myself why don't paint modders there keyboard, mice (if not a raizor boomslang or some really expensive and good looking device), monitor, speakers, ...
in a color that looks good with the color on the case (not the same, as that would be soooooo boring (I think))

Actually the same colour looks quite good IMO!
[IMG] - But this system justs sits there doing nothing (net gateway), I wouldn't want to use the mouse or keyboard too much.

Funny you should mention painting keyboards. The first "mod" I ever saw was a few years ago; a KB painted with acrylics. That was by a friend who wasn't that huge in to computing, but it till looked fantastic.

I'm also thinking of doing a keyboard modification, part of which will be painting it with aluminum paint. If it turns out well, I'll probably move on to the bay panels. (I have no intention of doing the whole case as it is quite large.)
