    Is this maybe the circuit?

    It would use a single LED (such as in a switch) to cover both power (on continuous) and drive activity (flickers off & on).

    Bard explains in a post#1 edit, the pics are no more. They have gone to the great Recycle Bin in the sky.

    Hi everybody. Almost five years after making this thread, I still get messages from people who would like to see the pics. And thanks to Andy Mc who tipped me about the web archive, the pictures (most of them) are now, as of 2008, restored and updated in the first post!
