Windows GTA: SA starting problem

I got problem with San Andreas, my computer broke and when i got it back i re-installed San Andreas because it didnt start. Well it's simple if i try to run the SA it simply wont start, sandclock is next to cursor few seconds and the dissapears... I tryed to turn off the firewall, changed compability mode to 98, re-installing it, kind stuff like that but it wont work... I have no friggin idea whats going on. All helpers are welcome.

Go to gamecopyworld and get a cracked exe.

 

I haved tryed numerous cracks... no help

 

Anybody ? Know something what to do ? :S

 

Have you got the update for the game? I had the same issue (it crashes trying to play the R* logos) and the patch sorted it.

 

Where i can get that ? ( btw my game wont crash.. It wont even start )

 

did you update your video drivers? - SA gave me fits on my laptop untill i switched from the crap dell drivers to the omega's ...

 

No... but i have video card: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400, do i have to download nVida drivers or, i can download any other compnys rivers ?

Video drivers should be your first port of call though. It probably is crashing. You just can't see it happening.

 

If i try to update it says: Old file not found. However a file of the same name was found. No update done since File contents do not match.

 

go to your documents, gta san andreas user files and delete gta_sa.set then try again.

 

You get that error if you try applying the update to a cracked exe. You will need to revert back to the originally installed exe to apply the update

 

Actualy i dont have it in there, the folder is empty exept the Gallery and User Tracks which are empty too.
Plus i downloaded COlin Mcrae Rally 04, and if i try to run it it says : ''No compitable 3d cards detected''

 

What video drivers do you have installed?

Download drivers from nVidia.com.

 

I dont know which video drivers i have installed ? Can i see it somewhere ?
And i tryed to download new drivers from nVida, but if i try to run it it says that: The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attemting to run has been corrupted. Please optain another copy of this file, verify its integrity, and try again.
But i have deleted and downloaded it 10 times, wont work

 

Anybody, know what to do ? :S
