Ok, well in a few days time i will be going to the downloa festival, should be a load of fun and a great laugh.

Anyone else who is going to the festival, or even going to Reading/Leeds? (i wish i was going to see RATM , but alas)

Let me know if it's any good. I gave up on Bloodstock after they cancelled the indoor show (which I attended every year since 01). And I heard meh things about last year's BOA.

Good old Rock Werchter for me!

    When it's a case of finding a festival that's:
    a) Not overrun by annoying 14 year olds who think it's fun to throw butane cans on open fires right next to your camp,
    b) Home to some of the best lineups in the world (Radiohead, REM, The Verve, Neil Young, etc)
    c) In Belgium - Truly Beautiful
    d) Been voted as the best festival in the world for the last three years, and still going strong
    e) A full four days long, with some awesome stands and entertainments here and there to while away the hours
    f) Even when encompassing both the tickets AND travel via Eurostar, STILL cheaper than Reading
...you can't go wrong with Rock Werchter!

Hmm... can you get Festival-Fanboyness? I think I may have succumbed to this one. But seriously - check it out, even if it's just for a quick 5 mins to check out the lineup and reviews - it's definitely worth a look!

Just come back from Rock A.M , far better than download in terms of both music and atmosphere.

I am going to Benicassim but basically wasting a summer.

Going to have to hope for a miracle for Leeds to see RATM.
What A foolish decision I made for the summer
