this is a pretty respectable casemod: http://www.coolputer.fi/assembly/case-pic.asp?pic=36.JPG so is this: http://www.coolputer.fi/assembly/case-pic.asp?pic=22.JPG http://www.coolputer.fi/assembly/case-pic.asp?pic=22_2.JPG this too: http://www.coolputer.fi/assembly/case-pic.asp?pic=35.JPG this ain't anything that new, but i doubt that even 1% of you have seen these. these pics are pretty amateur, but the cases ain't.
I like the paintjob on the first and third (same system I assume)... I have seen the wooden one before, probably the best wooden case ever done as far as I'm concerned. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12540&highlight=wood
D00D that wood case is sweet. That gives me an idea to make a comp outa a humidor box.. i could call it it projekt Sea-Gar hehe
i think its part of a rheostat... i haven't actually seen this case in real life... i was there, i just couldn't be bothered to look for it. check these out: http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_6_iso.jpg http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_2_iso.jpg http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_5_iso.jpg http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_8_iso.jpg http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_3_iso.jpg http://www.mikrobitti.fi/nettijatkot/2002/09/kilpailu/modding_7_iso.jpg hot damn!
Those are really nice cases, wish I could find the time or even inspiration needed to do compete with those. The woodies are the best of all I think. I would have to agree with Eddy that the finnish one is the top. The second one in your first set of three, is the "rusting" effect part of the paint job? How was that done?
The entire case appears to be airbrushed... very well too. Looks like they used a burnt orange for the rust effect. I really like the rivet effect...
