    its not pc controlled @ all.. you push the on button it does something for a few hours, then blows a breaker.
    then you use a super computer for 5 years to figure out what "something" was :)

    The magnetism is there to insulate from the super heated particles. it doesn't matter how hot the particles get, just that they stay far enough from the chamber walls with teh high magnetism. as long as the magnet works we're all ok. then the magnet is also insulated to stop it from ripping everything apart.
