Hello, Thinking of getting tv hooked up this fall but not sure if its really worth it. I like to watch house, heroes, lost, stargate, and thats about it off the top of my head. Anyone know of any good new shows that are going to be starting up?
I dunno but I'm just about to get Dexter season 1 as I watched a few bits of some shows and thought that was awesome. Dont know when/if the next season of that is around.
Season 2 is out and finished on the interweb, dont know when it's coming to the UK, might already be here.
Yes, Chuck Season 2, The Big Bang Theory, How I met your Mother, Burn Notice, ********, Eureka....Etc. All good shows
burn notice will be over by fall season, but there's lots of good stuff. i'm a total tv addict, but eztv has completely ruined watching regular tv on the television for me. shows i'm looking forward to: 30 rock, chuck, heroes, my name is earl, pushing daisies, south park. and then in the winter, 24 and lost. and on pay channels, entourage and dexter. the Tudors on CBC is pretty good too, but i don't know if/when it's getting another season.
Last season of "TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" was interesting. http://www.fox.com/terminator/ It's been renewed for this season.
Eureka S3 and SG: Atlantis S5 have already started airing. My info for other interesting shows is as follows (US dates):- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles S2 - Sept 22 Knight Rider (2008 remake) - Sept 24 Heroes S3 - Sept 22 Chuck S2 - Sept 29 Supertoad - The Tudors has been confirmed for a third season, guest starring Joss Stone as Anne of Cleves. linky.
To add to my earlier posting:- NCIS S6 - Sept 23 CSI:Miami - Sept 22 CSI:Vegas - Oct 9 CSI:NY - Sept 24 So everyone needs to have lots of blank tapes / dvds / finished their HTPC by the 3rd week in September!
So, you're recommending that I take the Christmas money and blow it on an HTPC? I was hoping Santa would give me an HD HTPC early. All those shows are available in HD. The CSI: Lost Wages has nice visuals, of all the flashing lights on its strip, while the camera segues to the next story segment. I think that city's lighting was originally designed by modders before PCs were around.
ooo, i was right, sweet. I guess this is all in the US of A though, which is the only place i'm currently not at, damn Sam
There are some restrictions, but you may be able to view episodes on broadband. Here is a thread with many links, but the CBS site would be a starting point if it doesn't block out non-us traffic. "Name those low-cost, broadband sources" Good luck, maybe you can find S1 of these shows somewhere.
Top Gear, can't wait to see more, last season was amazing, as was the season before that. EDIT excuse my ignorance, i completely disregarded the location
